Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between tile kara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swagger is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Amazing. tile kara has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swagger throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
kara shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Swagger as he jumps to the side.
kara avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Swagger shoots in and bounces kara off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Swagger lands a couple of decent looking shots.
kara wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Swagger is now in half guard.
kara won't allow Swagger to pass to mount.
kara tries to roll over but Swagger keeps him under control.
Swagger is pressing down on kara's thigh, looking to free his foot. kara is holding on for now.

Swagger prevents kara from improving his position.
kara has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Swagger is working away from the top position though.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
kara gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Swagger counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Swagger.
kara blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

kara goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Swagger holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for tile kara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Swagger breaks from the clinch.
The fighters circling - Swagger throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
kara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
kara ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Swagger walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Swagger shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in kara's guard.
Swagger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Swagger wants to control from the top but kara keeps moving.

kara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Swagger on the ground.

Swagger has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Swagger lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! kara's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Swagger throws a series of punches but kara moves out of range.
Swagger goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Swagger fails in his attempt to clinch.
Swagger swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and kara decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Swagger's guard.
Swagger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in kara's guard.
kara has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Swagger is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for kara.

kara tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Swagger easily slips into full mount!
Swagger breaks from kara's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
kara looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
kara is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Swagger is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at kara. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Swagger has kara flattened out and is raining down punches.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Swagger throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

A close second round but Shaun Swagger will probably get the nod - 10:9.
