The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cantor bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A swing and a miss from Cantor.
Eduardo Alvarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alvarez is looking to score with low kicks.
Nice defenses there by Cantor.
Cantor flicks out a counter leg kick but Alvarez steps away.
Cantor slips a straight right by Alvarez.

Alvarez gets in close and instigates a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Alvarez.

Cantor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alvarez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cantor momentarily.

Alvarez seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Cantor's chin but Cantor turns very nicely into Alvarez's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Cantor.

Alvarez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cantor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cantor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
