The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali throws a looping overhand right but Rampage ducks down to avoid it.
Rampage drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ali sprawls and moves away.
Rampage falls off balance throwing a combination

and Ali counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Rampage has one foot on Ali's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Ali looks to score with a jab to the body but Rampage is just out of range.
Rampage tries to counter with a takedown but Ali is quick to defend against it.
Rampage misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rampage is breathing heavily.

Rampage moves into the clinch successfully.

Rampage is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ali is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rampage to the mat. Rampage regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Rampage scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rampage ducks under a wild hook from Ali.
Rampage moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rampage closes the distance but Ali moves to the side
and Ali scores with a counter punch that sends Rampage to the canvas! Ali smells blood - he's punishing Rampage with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Rampage has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
