The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez shoots in for a takedown but Tybura shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hernandez has his takedown stuffed

and Tybura holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Tybura gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Hernandez is trying to maintain the position but Tybura is very close to passing his half guard.

Tybura is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hernandez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tybura's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tybura's back!
Tybura is trying to stand back up.

Hernandez is working for a rear naked choke. Tybura is not defending it well and Hernandez has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Tybura refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Tybura's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
