Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Willie Pep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Higgedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higgedy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pep but Pep pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pep blocks a head kick by Higgedy.
Higgedy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pep looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Higgedy is looking to clinch.
Pep misses with a two punch combination.
Higgedy throws a leg kick but Pep moved away.
Higgedy wants to clinch up but Pep keeps it at a distance.
Higgedy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pep throws a shot to the body.
Pep throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pep tries to clinch up.
Higgedy misses with a hook. Pep ducked under it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pep shoots for a takedown but Higgedy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Higgedy throws out a loose jab but Pep uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pete Higgedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab-cross combination lands for Higgedy and sends Pep crashing to the mat! Higgedy follows him down to the mat - Pep regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Pep is rocked!

It looks like Willie Pep has been cut.
Pep pushes Higgedy off looking to stand but Higgedy dives back in and keeps control.

Higgedy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pep defends it well.
Pep has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Higgedy is working away from the top position though.
Pep is refusing to be controlled, as Higgedy sits in half guard.
Higgedy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pep with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Pep scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Higgedy manages to mount him!
Pep wants to hold on but Higgedy pushes him away.
Pep is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Higgedy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oh Pep is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Willie Pep's cut is getting worse.
Higgedy lands a big elbow.
Pep tries to hold on but Higgedy postures up.
Pep seems to have got his legs back now.

Higgedy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pep is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pep flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Higgedy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pep and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Higgedy slips an arm under Pep chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Higgedy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Higgedy is squeezing on Pep like an anaconda would it's prey. Pep fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
