Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joseph Michaels!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blessed jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
No luck for Michaels with that takedown attempt.
Michaels swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Blessed counters with a stiff right hand.

and Blessed connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Michaels.
Michaels has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Michaels there as he acknowledges the shot.
Michaels steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blessed.
Michaels tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Michaels uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Blessed.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Michaels might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Blessed has got the better of the exchanges.

Blessed goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
