Sagat has chosen The Monster as his entrance music. Brock Sagat is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters circle momentarily. Silva darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Silva steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sagat. That one must have hurt.

It seemed like Sagat was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Silva ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Silva will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Silva feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sagats jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

After the fight, Chandinho Silva was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
