Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guillermo Valez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Ramp (The Logical Song). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Jones.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Valez swivels and escapes.
Valez swinging wilding here.
Valez throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.
Guillermo Valez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones slips under a jab from Valez.
Valez misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones takes one to the chin there.
Valez uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jones has time to react.
Valez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones tries to clinch up.
Valez throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.
Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jones looks for a takedown but Valez sprawls well.
Valez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jones sprawling to the canvas! Jones rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Valez finish him?!
Jones is rocked!

Valez lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Jones is looking to close the distance but Valez sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Jones crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Jones is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
