PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belfort comes to the cage accompanied by Control by Puddle of Mudd. Slayer has chosen Tupac - Hellrazor as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Belfort!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gustav Slayer!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slayer lands a lovely overhand right.
Belfort misses with a double jab.
A head kick by Belfort misses
and Slayer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Belfort throws a series of punches but Slayer avoids them all with ease.
A decent looking cross lands there for Slayer.
Belfort tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Slayer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jordan Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belfort doesn't manage to clinch there - Slayer circles away.
Slayer lands a nice shot that snaps Belfort's head back.
Belfort connects with a high kick.
Slayer moves away from the strike by Belfort.
A good leg kick by Belfort.
Slayer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Belfort on the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Belfort throws a series of punches but Slayer moves out of range.

Slayer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Belfort on his heels. He'll look to pass Belfort's guard now, I'm sure.
Slayer works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Belfort tries to kick Slayer off but Slayer keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Slayer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Belfort does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Slayer wants to advance to full mount but Belfort doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Slayer passes easily into side control. Nice work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Slayer has hold of Belfort's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Belfort seems comfortable defending it but Slayer has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Belfort is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Belfort is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Slayer couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gustav Slayer!
During a confident post fight interview, Gustav Slayer thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
