PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michel Calderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Henry Ford was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ford shoots in and gets a takedown into Calderon's guard.

Ford drives through and clinches with Calderon against the cage.
Calderon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ford gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ford does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Calderon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ford controls the pace.

Ford stands and steps away. Calderon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Ford has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
