The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

GreenIV drives through with a takedown into Hickman's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hickman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hickman trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
GreenIV must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
GreenIV wants to control from the top but Hickman keeps moving.

Hickman working for a triangle but GreenIV defends it easily.
GreenIV keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hickman's head.
GreenIV scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Hickman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. GreenIV gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
GreenIV wants to control from the top but Hickman keeps moving.
GreenIV really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hickman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hickman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. GreenIV doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. GreenIV manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hickman looking for a guillotine here but GreenIV defends easily.

Hickman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. GreenIV is aware though and is defending well.

GreenIV gets to his feet. Hickman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
