Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucius Perkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Son Goku!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goku clinches up with Perkins and pushes him back against the cage.

Goku pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Goku throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Goku throws a leg kick which misses Perkins's front leg but catches the back leg as Perkins tries to avoid it.
Goku pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Perkins dives in and grabs Goku's left leg, looking for a takedown. Goku pushes down on Perkins's head and hops out.
Goku looks to land a body kick but Perkins moved away.

Goku clinches up with Perkins and pushes him back against the cage.

Goku has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Perkins clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Goku has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Perkins has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

You can see the frustration on Perkins's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Perkins tries to close the distance and clinch but Goku swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Perkins has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Goku has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Perkins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As Goku tries to get set, Perkins tries to push him back and clinch up but Goku manages to avoid the attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Perkins on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Goku tries to close the distance and clinch up but Perkins swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Perkins wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Goku has him pressed against the cage.

Perkins lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Perkins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Goku is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Perkins scores with a couple of nice shots.
Perkins prevents Goku from standing back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Perkins looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Son Goku has got the better of the ground game so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perkins is thwarting Goku's attempts to control the position.
Perkins is nestled in close to Goku, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Perkins connects with a nice short shot to Goku's temple.

Perkins misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Goku is trying to get back to his feet but Perkins has full control of the position and if anything, Goku has just worked his way into a worse spot.
I really don't envy Goku right now.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Goku is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Perkins sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Goku has no choice but to tap and Perkins jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
