The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herring shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Edmund as he avoids it easily.
Herring misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Edmund .
A nice side step and Edmund releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Edmund has closed the distance and engaged Herring in a clinch.
Herring tries for a takedown but Edmund manages to get underhooks.
Edmund is working Herring over against the cage.
Edmund lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Herring is working for takedown but Edmund is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heath Herring. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Edmund lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Edmund displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Herring throws out the jab.
Herring throws a body punch but Edmund moves out of range.
Herring ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Edmund moves away.
Decent striking displayed by Edmund there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Herring has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Herring there as he acknowledges the shot.
