Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Lesley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alonzo Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Harris scores with a hook.
Lesley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Harris.
Lesley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lesley slips under a jab from Harris.
Harris connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lesley momentarily.

Harris is trying to break the clinch but Lesley has him pressed against the cage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Harris has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harris turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Harris manages to end up in side control.

Harris is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lesley has escaped the position, nice work there.
Lesley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lesley tries to get out of the position.

Harris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Harris is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lesley has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lesley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harris on the ground.
Lesley tries to improve position but can't.
Harris lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lesley down.

Harris is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lesley's shoulder. That is not cool.

Harris wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lesley, who protects the arm well.
Lesley can't do much from the bottom here.
Lesley takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Harris moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Lesley buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Harris drops Lesley with a straight right hand, right on the button! Harris follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alonzo Harris!
A very excited looking Alonzo Harris rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
