Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch Cling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander comes into the arena with Ready to Die- Andrew WK blaring out of the sound system. Cling is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Indistructable. Mitch Cling will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Cling.
Cling stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Alexander closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cling gets back to full guard.
Alexander gets to his feet. Cling looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Cling fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alexander manages to avoid it.

Cling looks to land a combination but Alexander avoids it well.

and Alexander counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Alexander.
Alexander has hold of one of Cling's legs. Cling is fighting the takedown attempt but Alexander gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Cling drops back looking for a leg! Alexander is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alexander manages to kick Cling off! Cling jumps back into Alexander's guard.

Mitch Cling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cling rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alexander moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
