Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Stoppers misses.
Laoka throws a leg kick which misses Stoppers's front leg but catches the back leg as Stoppers tries to avoid it.
Laoka tries a low kick but Stoppers avoids it.
Laoka lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stoppers is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Katsu Laoka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stoppers avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stoppers throwing a counter right hand but Laoka manages to avoid it.
Laoka looks to score with a jab to the body but Stoppers is just out of range.
Laoka tries to clinch up but Stoppers circles away and keeps his distance.
Stoppers showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Laoka.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laoka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It looked like Stoppers wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Laoka.
Stoppers lands a big head kick that sends Laoka tumbling to the mat! Stoppers takes a step backwards and waves Laoka back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Stoppers throws a poor cross that misses
and Laoka counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Laoka is looking to slow Stoppers down with leg kicks.
Stoppers tries to work over Laoka's front leg with a kick but Laoka checks it.
Stoppers on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Laoka. Laoka obviously looking to wear him down.
Good leg kick by Laoka there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stoppers takes a kick to the side of the head.
Laoka scores with a leg kick.
Laoka stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Stoppers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fighters circle momentarily. Laoka darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Laoka throws a sloppy head kick and Stoppers moves out of range easily.
Laoka fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Laoka looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Laoka throws a nice outside leg kick.
Laoka swings widly with a right hand
and Stoppers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Laoka lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stoppers has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stoppers and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Stoppers cracks Laoka with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Laoka looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Stoppers finish him?
Laoka is rocked!
Stoppers checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Laoka is still on wobbly legs! Can Stoppers finish him?
Laoka slips a straight right by Stoppers.
Laoka seems to have recovered his senses.
Stoppers throws a leg kick that is checked
and Laoka counters with a slapping leg kick.
Stoppers avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stoppers takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Laoka throws a lazy right hand but Stoppers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Stoppers misses the target.
Laoka sizes up Stoppers with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Laoka pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Laoka throws a hook but Stoppers blocks it.
A big right from Laoka misses.
Stoppers cracks Laoka with a good jab.
Laoka just misses with a punch to the body.
Laoka lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Laoka blocks a jab.
Laoka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stoppers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Laoka blocks a head kick by Stoppers.
Stoppers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Laoka scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stoppers in his tracks.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Laoka lands with a nice combination. Stoppers backs away looking to recover.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Laoka tries to clinch
and Stoppers counters with a stiff right hand.
A big left from Laoka misses.
Laoka scores with a leg kick.
Laoka tries to score with a low kick but Stoppers moves his leg out of the way.
Stoppers is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Laoka moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Stoppers is rocked!
Stoppers walks straight into a right hand from Laoka - that's dropped him! Laoka jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Stoppers from any more punishment! Stoppers complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Katsu Laoka!
After the fight, Katsu Laoka was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
