The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong connects with a body shot.

We've been hearing reports that Hunt has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Armstrong looks to land a left hand but Hunt moved out of range nicely.

Hunt throws a series of punches but Armstrong avoids them all with ease.
Armstrong throws a right and a left that both miss.

Hunt throws a looping overhand right but Armstrong ducks down to avoid it.
Armstrong takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Armstrong let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Armstrong sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hunt somewhat.
Armstrong is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hunt rather than just go for the knockout.

Hunt closes the distance and clinches.

Hunt tries to pull guard but Armstrong holds him up against the cage and eventually Hunt drops back down to his feet.

A close round but Diesel Armstrong will probably get the nod.

Hunt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hunt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Armstrong defends it easily.

Hunt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Armstrong gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Armstrong is posturing up here but Hunt has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Armstrong tries to roll out but it's too tight and Armstrong has to tap! Slick submission there by Hunt!
