Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simeon Drussovoc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aeriel Xristo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drussovoc closes the distance and clinches up with Xristo, looking for a takedown. Drussovoc pushes Xristo against the cage but Xristo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Drussovoc rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Xristo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Drussovoc is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Drussovoc has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
