The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lochgren lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Dario Cop has been cut.
Dario Cop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lochgren throws a nice looking combination but Cop bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lochgren accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cop seems keen to control Lochgren's posture.

Cop shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lochgren counters with a three punch combo that has Cop backing up. Cop nods at Lochgren to acknowledge the strikes.
Lochgren is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cop can do to turn this around?
Cop shoots for a double leg takedown but Lochgren sprawls well. He's pushed Cop's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cop doesn't manage to clinch there - Lochgren circles away.
Lochgren was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
