The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaBrie pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fighters circling - LaBrie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Flagg tries to close the distance and clinch up but LaBrie swats him away and circles back towards the center.

LaBrie clobbers Flagg with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
James LaBrie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flagg looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
LaBrie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Flagg moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Flagg has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from LaBrie finds it's way round the side to connect with Flagg's head.
LaBrie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Flagg.

LaBrie is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

It looked like Flagg was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Flagg batters LaBrie with a massive right followed by a huge left! LaBrie is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Flagg lands a final crushing right hand to drop LaBrie to the mat with a gruesome thud! Flagg is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
