The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ibid was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ibid is looking for a triangle but Brown pushes his legs off easily.

Ibid shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brown manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Ibid drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ibid jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brown is on top in guard.

Brown has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ibid celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
