Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shannon Chille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Szandor Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chille comes to the cage accompanied by Ms. Fortune. Storm has chosen Pantera - 5 Minutes Alone as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chille misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chille defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Storm.
Storm throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chille was covering up waiting for the punch and Storm finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Storm prevents Chille from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Storm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chille swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Storm shoots in looking for a takedown. Chille tries to sprawl out of it but Storm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chille manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chille has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Chille has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
