Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tamati Kauri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner slaps away a takedown attempt from Kauri, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Good exchange - Banner coming out on top.
Banner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Banner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Banner takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Banner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kauri was well out of range. Poor timing from Banner.
Banner scores with a nice strike.
Kauri scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kauri has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Banner!

Kauri looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Kauri wants to take Banner's back here but Banner is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Banner has given up his back here. Will Kauri look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Banner is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Kauri is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Banner is defending well though. Kauri let's go of the attempt for now.

Banner is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Kauri is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Banner has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kauri has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Banner taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kauri doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tamati Kauri!
Tamati Kauri decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
