The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Ryan, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Ryan against the cage but Ryan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Silva counters with a nice leg kick.
Silva throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ryan's head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
