The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Son throws a head kick that misses
and Son takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Son looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

It seemed like Venczel was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Son looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Son forces Venczel back against the ropes and clinches.

Venczel's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Venczel has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Son seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Venczel can turn it around.

Venczel tries to clinch but Son is having none of it.

Son lands a front kick to the face, that drops Venczel to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!

Venczel is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Look low, kick high! Son uses the oldest trick in the book to send Venczel tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Son is absolutely delighted - when Venczel wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dam Son!
A very excited looking Dam Son rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
