Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between El Misterioso Damballah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kullervo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Misterioso Damballah has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Damballah crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kullervo - the referee stops the clock and Damballah gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kullervo. Damballah manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kullervo looks to land a body kick but Damballah moved away.
Damballah fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kullervo avoids it really well and circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Damballah is defended easily by Kullervo.

We've been informed that Kullervo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Damballah shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kullervo but Kullervo pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
