Javri comes to the cage accompanied by Finnish Encore. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mikhail Kalashnikov!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalashnikov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Javri pinned against the cage. Javri gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Javri seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Kalashnikov shoots in for a takedown but Javri shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

My spies in Netherlands Top Team & KT inform me that Kalashnikov has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Javri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kalashnikov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kalashnikov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Kalashnikov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kalashnikov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Javri is trying to maintain the position but Kalashnikov is very close to passing his half guard.
Kalashnikov scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Javri is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kalashnikov is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Javri is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mikhail Kalashnikov!
An out of breath Mikhail Kalashnikov thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Hillevi Javri spoke after the fight, saying 'Congratulations to Mamchenko tonight,He did good and got my belt,I Wish you all the luck in your future and hope we can face off sometime.'.
