Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dante Johns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fauzan Flik!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flik gets a clinch.
Johns gets control of Flik's arms and successfully pulls guard. Johns will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Flik passes Johns's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Flik is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johns defends it well.
Johns is controlling Flik's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Flik is just content to waste time from the top position. Johns takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Johns wants to stand up but Flik is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flik trying to control but Johns is working from the bottom.
Flik stopping the sweep attempt from Johns.

Flik is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Flik wants to control from the top but Johns keeps moving.
Flik in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Johns really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johns uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Flik tries to land a body kick
and Johns counters with a shoot takedown. Flik fights it but they end up in guard.
Flik is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Johns dives into side control.
Johns looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johns has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flik misses with a hook to the ribs.
Johns fails to pull guard.
Flik trying to land knees to the body.
Flik decides to pull guard.
Flik is working an open guard so Johns takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Johns shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Flik is looking to get back to is feet but Johns passes into side control.
Flik looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Flik is looking for a sweep.
Johns is working to tighten his grip on Flik's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Flik has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Johns is really squeezing tight and eventually Flik passes out! Johns breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
