Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Rendulic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinicius Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocky Rendulic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rendulic fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jones lands with a hook. Rendulic tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Rocky Rendulic has been cut.
Rendulic shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Rendulic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rendulic shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Rendulic is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rendulic seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Rendulic throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.

and Rendulic decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rendulic drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jones dives on top into guard.

Rendulic manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Rendulic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rendulic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jones lands a left and a right that send Rendulic crashing to the mat, dazed. Jones thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
