Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexsi Kiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alexsi Kiser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jackson Turner!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kiser.

Kiser clinches with his opponent.
Kiser has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Turner avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kiser prevents a body shot from Turner.
Kiser lands a good knee to the midsection. Turner won't want to take too many of those.
Turner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Turner tries to circle away but Kiser has him pinned against the cage.
Kiser tries for a takedown but Turner manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexsi Kiser. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turner drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Turner is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Kiser drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Turner gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Turner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick misses from Turner.
Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kiser changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Kiser throws a push kick but Turner slaps the foot to one side.
Turner avoids the head kick by Kiser.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kiser or perhaps it was just good defense by Turner, which made it look bad.

Kiser has Turner up against the cage in a clinch.
Turner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kiser creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Turner's defenses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kiser misses with a knee strike.
Turner struggles to land a body shot inside as Kiser controls his hands.

Kiser manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Kiser is trying to control the position but Turner postures up.
Turner controlling from the top position.
Kiser is pulling down on Turner's head to control his posture.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Turner slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Turner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kiser has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turner has managed to get both his arms back between Kiser's legs - danger averted.

Turner wants to control from the top but Kiser keeps moving.

Kiser looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kiser throws a left and a right that both miss

and Turner counters by clinching up.
Turner wants to get back to striking at distance but Kiser won't allow it.
Kiser looking to throw knees to the head but Turner is blocking nicely.
Kiser can't get the takedown.
Kiser blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Turner goes for a takedown attempt but Kiser pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Turner tries a head kick but it misses.
Kiser attempts a counter takedown but Turner avoids it well and moves away.
Kiser shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Turner sprawls well. Turner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kiser gets slowly back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Turner tries to clinch up.

Kiser has Turner up against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Turner doesn't manage to clinch there - Kiser circles away.
Alexsi Kiser is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Turner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kiser.
Turner takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Turner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Kiser has one foot on Turner's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Kiser is trying hard to land a takedown here. Turner sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kiser shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turner but Turner pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Kiser moves into range and clinches up with Turner.

Turner trying to control the position but instead, Kiser has worked for underhooks and has pushed Turner into the cage.
Turner tries to pull guard but Kiser holds him up against the cage and eventually Turner drops back down to his feet.
Kiser drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Turner gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Turner is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kiser to keep the fight standing.

Kiser could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kiser fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Kiser gets a clinch.
Turner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kiser landing knees to the body.

Kiser breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Turner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kiser.
Kiser tries for a takedown but Turner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Turner takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Turner fails with the takedown.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kiser misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Turner moves into the clinch.
Kiser is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Turner tries to stall but Kiser uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Kiser is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Turner can do to turn this around?

Turner has picked Kiser up - he's going for a ride! Turner dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Kiser manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Turner misses with a takedown
and Kiser counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Turner thinking.
Kiser fails with a takedown attempt.

Kiser avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Turner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kiser is fending him off so far but Turner persists. Nope, Kiser circles away and we're back to standing.
Kiser is looking for a counter combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kiser throws a left and a right that both miss

and Turner counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Turner.
Kiser is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Turner gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kiser.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Kiser.
Turner is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kiser is defending well for now.
Kiser is struggling to control the position.

Kiser pulls guard effortlessly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexsi Kiser dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Turner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kiser circles away.
Kiser lands with a cross.

Kiser shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Kiser is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Turner sees it coming and defends easily.

Kiser postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Turner to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kiser takes the fight into the clinch.
Turner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Alexsi Kiser has scored more points in the clinch so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kiser is fighting off a takedown attempt but Turner is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kiser to the mat. Kiser regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Kiser is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Turner presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Turner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
A shot in the inside from Kiser.
Turner jumps guard but Kiser turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Alexsi Kiser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Turner.

Kiser pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Turner.
Kiser tries to counter by clinching up but Turner breaks away and moves out of range.
Turner shoots and misses
and Kiser counters with a head kick that wobbles Turner - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Kiser sends him down. This one is all over!
