The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett misses with an uppercut. Kalhoun saw that one coming.
Yance Sackett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sackett throws and low kick but Kalhoun moves out of range easily.
Kalhoun lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kalhoun uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sackett.
Kalhoun throws a looping overhand right but Sackett ducks down to avoid it.
Kalhoun misses with a two punch combination.
Sackett's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Sackett duly obliges.
Kalhoun fails with a takedown attempt.
Sackett is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sackett is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Kalhoun flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Kalhoun is out cold! Sackett holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
