Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sitish Negi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ipod Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Negi comes to the cage accompanied by Blue eyes. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Apple as Negi shoots in.
Negi fails with the takedown.

Apple clinches up with Negi and pushes him back against the cage.

Negi is trying to drag Apple to the mat but Apple just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Negi wants to take the fight to the mat but Apple manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Apple feints and as Negi raises his hands in defense, Apple changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Apple has taken the fight to the clinch.
Apple tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Apple has eaten all the pies!

Apple breaks from the clinch.
Negi fails to land the takedown.

Apple closes the distance and pushes Negi back into the cage.
Apple struggles to land a body shot inside as Negi controls his hands.
Apple can't find room to land a body shot as Negi controls the action.
Negi looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Negi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Apple gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Apple stops a takedown attempt from Negi.
Apple lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Negi or not.
Apple digs a right hand into Negi's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Negi's gas tank.
Negi tries for a takedown. No joy.

Apple escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Apple closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A body shot lands from Apple.
Apple lands a shot to the body.
Apple misses with a body punch.
Apple dodges an elbow strike from Negi.

Apple manages to break the clinch.
Apple throws a series of strikes that have Negi backpedaling.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Apple stops a takedown attempt from Negi.
Apple is pressed up against the cage. Negi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Apple down to the mat. Apple avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Apple is trying to trip Negi. He has hold of a leg but Negi is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Apple persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Negi manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Apple.
Negi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Apple is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Negi is defending well for now.
We've been informed that Apple has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Apple looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Negi!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Apple taking a break here but Negi is having none of it and regains half guard.

Apple content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Negi has locked up a guillotine! Negi's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Apple is holding on here and Negi must be using up a lot of energy. Apple has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Negi gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
