The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DaCoca takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Maslow throws a front kick aimed at DaCoca's knee but DaCoca avoids it well.

DaCoca scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Maslow ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
DaCoca ducks under a wild hook from Maslow.
Maslow throws a head kick that misses.
DaCoca moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Maslow decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Maslow is trying to control. DaCoca wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
DaCoca is trying to stand up here but Maslow is controlling him well.
Maslow looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Maslow is sneakily working for an arm triangle but DaCoca sees it coming and defends easily.
DaCoca manages to get to full guard.

DaCoca wants to stand and escape but Maslow is having none of it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
DaCoca has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Maslow is pushing down on DaCoca's leg trying to pass to half guard. DaCoca is fighting to maintain full guard but Maslow has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
DaCoca throws a sloppy head kick and Maslow moves out of range easily.

Maslow let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Maslow moves away from the strike by DaCoca.
Maslow lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Charles DaCoca has been cut.
DaCoca throws a body shot but no joy.
Maslow raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Maslow fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. DaCoca looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Maslow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
DaCoca ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
DaCoca keeps Maslow at a distance using the push kick.

Maslow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but DaCoca circles away quickly and effectively.
DaCoca attempts a counter takedown but Maslow avoids it well and moves away.
Maslow moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
DaCoca misses with a body shot.

Vladislav Maslow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice shot lands for DaCoca.
DaCoca tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Good leg kick by Maslow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Charles DaCoca is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Maslow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but DaCoca manages to avoid it.
Maslow throws a right and a left that DaCoca avoids nicely.
Maslow's corner calls for a 1-2. Maslow obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Maslow moves out of range as DaCoca throws a body kick.
DaCoca throws a body shot but no joy.
Donk. DaCoca catches Maslow right on the button with a cross.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! DaCoca throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Maslow is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
