Shiroo has chosen The Gazette / Filth In The Beauty as his entrance music. Tetsuya Shiroo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Shiroo counters with a stiff right hand.
We've been informed that Shiroo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Long takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Shiroo slips a jab and a cross from Long.
A low kick from Long misses

and Shiroo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Long won't be happy with that.
Shiroo tries to move to mount but Long blocks the move with his legs.

Shiroo is trying to move to mount but Long reverses beautifully and ends up in Shiroo's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Shiroo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Shiroo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Shiroo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Long gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Shiroo looking for a sweep. Not yet Shiroo, not yet.
Long wanted to stand there but Shiroo had control of the position.
Long wants to control from the top but Shiroo keeps moving.

Shiroo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Long is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Shiroo.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
You can see the frustration on Shiroo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Shiroo tries to bench press Long off him but Long keeps the position.

Long stands up and beckons Shiroo to his feet.
Long checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Shiroo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Long.

Sloppy strikes from Long. Those never looked like landing.
John Long is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Shiroo counters with a good low kick that Long was not able to check.

Long throws the kick towards the body but Shiroo avoids it.
Long throws a sloppy body shot
and Long takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shiroo cracks Long with a good jab.
BOOM! Shiroo lands a beautiful left hook that drops Long. Long tries to recover but Shiroo is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Long lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Tetsuya Shiroo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
