PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lou Hole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clarence McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hole's entrance music is Louie Louie/ Motorhead. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Lou Hole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clarence McGee!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hole shoots in but no luck this time.
Hole throws a chopping leg kick but McGee manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hole misses with an uppercut.
Hole misses with a wild combination.
McGee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hole.
McGee throws a head kick that misses.
Hole feinted with a counter takedown.
Hole pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hole goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

McGee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hole swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGee felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Hole thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McGee's head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McGee throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hole's head.

Hole breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hole stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McGee.
McGee wants to clinch up but Hole keeps it at a distance.
McGee slips a jab from Hole.
McGee scores with a kick to the body.
Nice cross by Hole.
Hole shoots for a double leg takedown but McGee sprawls well. He's pushed Hole's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McGee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hole paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McGee misses with a looping left.

McGee scores with a nice body kick.
A head kick from McGee lands but Hole takes it in his stride.


Hole is rocked!
McGee lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Hole head around and knocks him out cold! McGee hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Clarence McGee!
Clarence McGee was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Lou Hole was interviewed post fight and said 'What can I say you got me man'.
