The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyles doesn't manage to clinch there - Mattos circles away.
Doyles has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mattos.
Mattos connects with an inside leg kick.
Mattos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mattos wants it to stay on the feet.
Mattos lands a nice leg kick that just misses Doyles's sensitive parts.
Nice body punch from Mattos.
Mattos scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Mattos lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Doyles backs up against the cage.
Mattos feints and then cracks Doyles's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Doyles down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mattos dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Doyles. That did some damage!
Doyles gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mattos counters with a stiff right hand.

Mattos jabs at Doyles's body.
Oh Doyles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Doyles is breathing heavily.
Mattos ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Doyles's jaw. Doyles's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Mattos does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
