Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michel Calderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Jarzyna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michel Calderon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calderon avoids the head kick by Jarzyna.
Jarzyna darts in and clinches Calderon up against the cage.
Jarzyna manages to pull guard.
Jarzyna not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jarzyna is looking to stand up but Calderon isn't so interested in that idea.
Jarzyna trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jarzyna drives through and clinches with Calderon against the cage.
Calderon is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jarzyna is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Calderon to the mat. Calderon regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Calderon pushes Jarzyna off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Calderon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Calderon dives in and grabs Jarzyna's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jarzyna pushes down on Calderon's head and hops out.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jarzyna looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jarzyna ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Calderon moves away.
Calderon shoots in for a takedown but Jarzyna shows good takedown defense.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Calderon is staying active underneath Jarzyna, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Calderon has a hand on Jarzyna's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Jarzyna takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Calderon is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Jarzyna moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Calderon has worked his arm free - good work by Calderon!

Calderon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jarzyna decides to stand back up.
Jarzyna feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jarzyna throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Calderon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Calderon has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jarzyna is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Calderon.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jarzyna looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Calderon pushes Jarzyna off and gets back to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jarzyna is trying to push Calderon away but Calderon has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Jarzyna is trying to control the position but Calderon postures up.

Jarzyna working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Calderon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Calderon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Calderon tries to score with some ground and pound. Jarzyna controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Michel Calderon will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Krzysztof Jarzyna.
Well Jarzyna has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
