Karkmananis has taken the fight to the clinch.
Karkmananis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Karkmananis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Karkmananis connects with a body shot that sends White's belly button to the back.
Karkmananis clinches with his opponent.
White prevents a body shot from Karkmananis.
Karkmananis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
White looks for a takedown but Karkmananis sprawls well.
Karkmananis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Karkmananis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that White has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Karkmananis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Karkmananis manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Karkmananis drops White with a big right hand! Karkmananis charges in looking to finish - White manages to keep Karkmananis in his guard and seems to have recovered somewhat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Karkmananis gets to his feet. White looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
White throws a leg kick that is checked
and Karkmananis counters with a big right hand! Oh White is in trouble here! Karkmananis follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
