Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lonje Moco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 57 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Franco Colombo!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colombo throws a series of punches but Moco avoids them all with ease.
A big left from Moco misses.
Colombo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Moco's head backwards.


It looks like Lonje Moco has been cut.
Moco really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Colombo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Moco swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Nice jab there from Colombo.
Colombo throws a sloppy head kick and Moco moves out of range easily.
Moco was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Colombo thuds his right hand into Moco's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Moco is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Colombo.

Colombo is fighting off a takedown attempt but Moco is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Colombo to the mat. Colombo regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Colombo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Moco controls the pace.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Colombo can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Colombo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moco tries to avoid it but Colombo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moco to the ground. Moco escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Colombo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Colombo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Lonje Moco's cut is getting worse.
Colombo throws a sloppy head kick and Moco moves out of range easily.
Moco works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Moco has Colombo up against the cage in a clinch.
Colombo misses with an elbow over the top.
Moco blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moco escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Colombo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Colombo is looking to advance position but Moco has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Colombo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Colombo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Moco looking to finish Colombo with some ground and pound. This is bad for Colombo!

Moco working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moco controlling the pace for now.

Colombo is trying desperately to improve position.
Franco Colombo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Moco lands a big elbow.

Lonje Moco showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Colombo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
