Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Redding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redding is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Alive. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bubba Kush!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joshua Redding!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redding misses the shot to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Redding has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Redding throws a body punch but Kush moves out of range.

Redding changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kush looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kush tries to buck Redding off but Redding is having none of it.
Kush defending against the ground and pound.

Kush is looking to regain half guard here but Redding keeps moving and retains side control.
Kush regains half guard there - taking advantage of Redding's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Kush moves into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Redding got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kush has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Redding has managed to get both his arms back between Kush's legs - danger averted.

Redding works over Kush with some ground and pound from guard.
Kush avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kush is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kush lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kush is trying to control. Redding wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Redding works his way to full guard. Good work.

Kush connects with a couple of short punches.
Kush stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Redding swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kush lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Kush postures up and lands a big shot to Redding's brow.
Kush wants to control from the top but Redding keeps moving.
Kush cracks Redding with a solid left hand.
Kush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Redding had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kush defends it easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Redding is rocked!
Kush is working Redding over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Redding is still in real trouble! Can Kush finish him?
Kush lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Redding is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kush not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kush loads up on a big left hand. Redding felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kush looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Redding can't hide his disappointment, as Kush celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bubba Kush!

A relieved looking Bubba Kush thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Joshua Redding spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry to everyone I let down. I will take this experience, learn from it, and come back like a bat out of hell. You'll all see.'.
