Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maynard Keenan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Guervo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Keenan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rusty Cage by SOUNDGARDEN. Jose Guervo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guervo throws a leg kick but Keenan checks it.
Keenan slips a jab from Guervo.
Guervo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Guervo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Guervo showed some decent athleticism there.
Guervo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Keenan's head.
Keenan is trying to maintain the position but Guervo is very close to passing his half guard.
Guervo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Keenan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Keenan trying to control but Guervo postures up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Keenan is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Guervo pulls his head out easily.
