Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timo Haria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sandstorm. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haria takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Timo Haria has been cut.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haria manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haria has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Haria there as he acknowledges the shot.

Silva darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Haria shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Haria shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Haria's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Haria throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haria off to one side.

Silva lands a nice hook to Haria's body. Haria takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Haria takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Haria moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wanderlei Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Silva rushes Haria and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Haria shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well.
Haria looks for a takedown but Silva sprawls well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haria shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Haria is breathing heavily.

Haria shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Haria has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.
Haria will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
