Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lesley Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tardan Ohlms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lesley Johns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tardan Ohlms!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohlms shoots in for a takedown but Johns shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tardan Ohlms seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ohlms closes the distance and clinches up with Johns, looking for a takedown. Ohlms pushes Johns against the cage but Johns circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It looked like Johns was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ohlms.
Ohlms looks to throw a body kick
and Johns counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ohlms throws a combination that misses
and Ohlms takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ohlms or perhaps it was just good defense by Johns, which made it look bad.

No joy there for Ohlms, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johns was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Ohlms forces Johns back against the cage and clinches.

Ohlms is trying to trip Johns. He has hold of a leg but Johns is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ohlms persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johns knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ohlms on the ground.

Ohlms throws a series of punches but Johns avoids them all with ease.

Ohlms closes the distance and pushes Johns back into the cage.
Ohlms has Johns pushed against the cage.
Johns misses with a punch on the inside.
Johns can't find room to land a body shot as Ohlms controls the action.
Johns is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Johns drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ohlms gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ohlms's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Johns drives through with a takedown into Ohlms's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ohlms holds on and takes a little breather.
Johns will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ohlms wants to stand up but Johns is controlling him.

Johns drops back looking for a leg! Ohlms is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ohlms manages to kick Johns off! Johns jumps back into Ohlms's guard.

Johns is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ohlms is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ohlms has escaped and now he's on top!

Ohlms lands a couple of digs.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ohlms stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johns swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ohlms has Johns pressed against the cage, preventing Johns from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Ohlms gets to his feet. Johns looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Johns gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Ohlms gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Johns is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
