Nice takedown defense from Johnson. No joy for Green on that attempt.
Johnson seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Johnson closes the distance and pushes Green back into the cage.
Johnson is looking to take this one to the mat.

Green pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson wanted to stand there but Green had control of the position.
Green throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Green is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Johnson is looking to stand up but Green isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johnson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Green has picked Johnson up and slammed him! Johnson can't keep hold of the triangle and Green manages to pass to side control!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Green wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.
Green in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Green working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Johnson pushes Green away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Green gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Green looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Johnson seems a little lost for a moment, as Green dominates the positioning.

Johnson is not content to let Green control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Green avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Green changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Green shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson is looking to counter punch.
Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side.

Green looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Green persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.

Green looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Green persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.

Johnson dives in and scores a takedown into Green's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Johnson wants to stand but Green has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Green wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A close round but Coby Green will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No luck for Green with that takedown attempt.

Johnson wants to stand up but Green is controlling him.

Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Green throws a big right hand that misses.
Green is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Johnson has his foot on Green's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Green works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Green tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Green bucks up and tries to throw Johnson off but instead Johnson has got his back!

Green wants to control his opponent's hands but Johnson gets his hands free.

Johnson is cranking Green's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Green! He's tightened the choke and Green is tapping out!
