The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coult throws a head kick that misses.
Horrible takedown attempt by Coult or perhaps it was just good defense by Martin, which made it look bad.
Nice takedown defense from Martin. No joy for Coult on that attempt.

Coult moves into the clinch.
Coult lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Martin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Martin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Coult.
Colton Martin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam Coult.

Coult gets caught napping as Martin dives in and scores a takedown. Coult manages to retain guard.

Coult utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Coult has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Martin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Coult.

Martin cracks Coult with a big elbow.
Coult looking for a sweep but Martin has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Coult wants to control but Martin is having none of it.
BOOM! Martin connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Coult has given up his back here.

Martin has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Coult! Can he survive? No! He's out! Martin gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
