The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leksell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rojas.
Rojas misses with a wild body shot.
Leksell doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rojas counters with a straight right hand.
Rojas throws a looping overhand right but Leksell ducks down to avoid it.

Leksell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Rojas is not content to let Leksell control the position.
Rojas wants to control but Leksell is keeping busy.
Rojas is refusing to be controlled, as Leksell sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Leksell tries a head kick but it misses.
Leksell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rojas swivels and escapes.
Rojas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Leksell dives in for a single leg takedown but Rojas sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

It looks like Shane Leksell has been cut.
Rojas throws a monster overhand right that drops Leksell! Rojas follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
