Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Finn Balor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Finn Balor!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Black!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Balor shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Black defends it nicely.
Finn Balor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Balor throws a left and a right that both miss
and Black counters with a thumping low kick.
Black throws a jab but it's blocked by Balor.
Balor is looking to counter the offense by Black and move into the clinch.
Balor walks into a left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A punch lands to the side of Balor 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Black scores with a shot to the body.

and Black counters with a nice low kick that buckles Balor's knee momentarily.

A nice side step and Black releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Balor shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense.

Black keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Black is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Black pulls Balor in to control the position.

Balor with a poor takedown
and Black counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Balor thinking.
Black tests Balor's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Black throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Balor takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Black scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Balor doesn't seem bothered though.
Balor takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Black lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Black throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Balor stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Black fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Balor tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Black fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Balor has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A nice leg kick lands there from Black.
Balor takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Black is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Balor rather than just go for the knockout.
Balor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Black lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Balor at a distance.
A slapping leg kick lands for Black.
Good exchange - Black coming out on top.
Balor takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Jason Black is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Black lands with a shot to the body.
Black lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Black dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Black throws a head kick that half lands.
Balor moves to clinch but Black breaks away
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Balor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Black counters with a slapping leg kick.
Balor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Black sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Balor somewhat.
Black throws a counter combo.
Finn Balor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Balor darts in looking for a takedown but Black gets double underhooks and turns Balor into the cage.

Black connects with a single shot there.
Black lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Balor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Black connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Balor scrambles back to his feet.

Balor throws a body punch but Black moves out of range.
Black is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Balor with a body shot.
Black dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Black lands a head kick!
Balor is rocked!
It looks like Finn Balor has been cut.
A shot to the liver by Black. Beautiful body shot.
Oh Balor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Black drops Balor with a straight right hand, right on the button! Black follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
