Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Samson Nazirite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Carvalho!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazirite connects with a leg kick. Carvalho looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Carvalho.
Nazirite was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Nazirite throws a sloppy head kick and Carvalho moves out of range easily.
As Nazirite backs off Carvalho throws a huge counter combo but Nazirite manages to avoid it all.
Carvalho shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nazirite defends it nicely.
Nazirite scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Nazirite rushes Carvalho and presses him up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nazirite with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Carvalho has Nazirite pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Carvalho pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Nazirite tumbling to the mat - Carvalho dives into Nazirite's guard.
Nazirite wants to sweep here but Carvalho controlling him for the moment.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Carvalho working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Carvalho's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Nazirite is looking to stand up but Carvalho isn't so interested in that idea.
Nazirite working a defensive guard here.
Nazirite has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Carvalho is standing up over Nazirite. Nazirite looks to escape but Carvalho dives into side control.
Carvalho is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nazirite is trying to escape and Carvalho transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nazirite is forced to tap! Nice work there by Carvalho! Very nice indeed!
