The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Hitman gets caught flat footed, as Perkins shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The Hitman is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Perkins dives into side control.

Perkins lands a decent elbow from side control.
Perkins creates some space and throws a big elbow, but The Hitman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Perkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The Hitman wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Perkins has ideas of his own. He's got hold of The Hitman's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh!
