The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tomasello darts in and clinches Monni up against the cage.
Monni lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Monni throws an elbow but misses.

Tomasello has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Monni regains guard immediately.
Monni knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tomasello on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tomasello loads up on a big left hand. Monni felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Tomasello looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Monni can't hide his disappointment, as Tomasello celebrates the victory.
